The Heart Behind 43 Years in Title.

Forty-three years is enough time to watch an industry reinvent itself countless times. Markets shift. Technology transforms the way business is done. Generations come and go.

Yet through every season of change, Tammy Pearson has remained exactly where she loves to be, helping people navigate one of life's biggest milestones with confidence, care, and a welcoming smile.

It may not surprise you to learn that title wasn't the career she originally planned. After attending school to become a paralegal, Tammy accepted a position with an attorney at a title company. It didn't take long to realize that the legal path wasn't her passion. But the title side captured her heart almost immediately, and decades later, she still wakes up excited to serve the people and communities she loves.

Today, Tammy is the co-owner of Elite Title Co., LLC based in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; while proudly calling Chickamauga, Georgia home. She leads the company's closings and public relations but if you ask Tammy what has kept her inspired throughout her career, she won't start by talking about transactions or title policies...she'll talk about the people!

“Every closing represents someone’s dream,” Tammy says. “Being trusted to walk alongside families during such an important milestone is something I never take for granted.”

Ask Tammy what has kept her inspired for 43 years, and she won't talk about the transactions. She'll talk about the relationships. For her, every closing is another opportunity to celebrate families, support her community, and remind people that behind every file is a story worth being part of.

Leading Through Relationships.

Relationships and connection with people is where Tammy has learned to shine.

Whether she's welcoming first-time homebuyers, strengthening relationships throughout her community, or representing Elite Title, Tammy believes people have always been the heart of this business.

"I've always loved the people side of title," Tammy shares. "Being part of such an important moment in someone's life is something I never take for granted."

 Her warmth, genuine personality, and servant's heart have become trademarks to the iconic Tammy brand. Her leadership shines when helping clients and colleagues feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every step of the way.

Embracing Change with Grace.

Few professionals have witnessed the evolution of title insurance quite like Tammy. She began her early years working with handwritten files and going to the local courthouse searching through bulky legal books to today's fast-paced digital world that is constantly transforming through technology and AI. She has experienced it all.

Rather than resisting change, Tammy has embraced it.

"The industry has changed so much over the years," she says. "But one thing has never changed, the value of face-to-face interaction with people."

Her ability to adapt while staying grounded in timeless values has allowed her to continue serving clients with excellence through every season.

Pouring Into the Next Generation.

One of Tammy's greatest joys today is watching new professionals discover the same passion for title that has inspired her throughout her career.

Her advice isn't complicated. It's timeless:

Be willing to learn.

Stay humble.

Build relationships.

And never forget that every file represents a real family placing their trust in you during one of the biggest moments of their lives. 

“Always be learning, loving every step of the journey, as every day brings something new, and that's where the spark and fun for the business builds."

 She also believes experience is meant to be shared, not guarded. Every accomplished professional was once the new person asking questions, and every thriving industry depends on leaders who are willing to encourage, mentor, and invest in those coming behind them.  

If there were ever photos that captured someone's personality, these would be Tammy's. Her signature "jump" has become more than a fun travel tradition, but a symbolic reflection of how she lives her life.

Whether she's soaring through the streets of Europe or welcoming clients at the closing table, she approaches life with the same enthusiasm, optimism, and wholehearted spirit.

Tammy doesn't do anything halfway. She has a remarkable way of jumping into every opportunity with joy, embracing new adventures while bringing that same energy, warmth, and commitment to everyone she meets. The woman you see traveling the world is the very same woman her clients, colleagues, and friends connect with every day. Because . . .

The People Who Matter Most.

While Tammy has dedicated much of her life to helping others achieve the dream of homeownership, it's the time she spends with her own family, friends, and community that fills her heart the most.

Her family has always been her biggest source of encouragement and support, cheering her on through every chapter of her career and life moments that have defined her. "No matter how busy life gets, the people you love are what matter most. They're the reason you keep showing up every day."

It's a balance she's fiercely protected throughout her life. A successful career has been important, but never more important than the relationships waiting for her at home.

"At the end of the day, my heart is my family and friends who are the center of my life.”

Life's Greatest Adventures

When Tammy isn't helping families celebrate new beginnings, you'll likely find her planning the next adventure with her husband, David, whom she'll celebrate 42 years of marriage with this September!

Travel isn't simply a hobby for Tammy and David, but a passion.

Together, she and David have explored some of the world's most beautiful destinations, with Europe holding a special place in their hearts. Their travels have taken them from enjoying lunch at the Eiffel Tower to strolling the historic streets of London, and most recently, exploring the beauty and charm of France. But for Tammy, every destination is simply another opportunity to discover something new. "We love finding adventure wherever we go," she says.

That adventurous spirit has led to unforgettable experiences, including paragliding near the Matterhorn in Switzerland, and one of their most treasured memories—renewing their wedding vows in the turquoise waters of Bora Bora on their 30th wedding anniversary.

And they're not slowing down anytime soon. Next year is already filled with exciting plans, including a trip to Japan with her cousin in February, followed by a magical Christmas Market River Cruise through Switzerland, France, and Germany with David.

Whether she's welcoming clients at the closing table or discovering a new corner of the world, Tammy embraces each day with gratitude, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. 

"Life is meant to be lived," she says. "The memories we create together are the greatest souvenirs we'll ever bring home."

Leaving the Industry Better Than She Found It.

When Tammy reflects on the impact she hopes to leave behind, it isn't measured by the number of closings she's completed. It's measured by the lives she's touched.

"I hope people remember that I cared," she says. "That I treated everyone with kindness, worked with integrity, and always tried to do the right thing."  Something I think we all strive for.

She hopes the relationships she's built and the example she's set will continue to inspire those entering the profession.

"The title industry has been incredibly good to me," Tammy reflects. "If I can encourage someone else to build a career they love as much as I have, then I've done something worthwhile."

Her enthusiasm for the industry hasn't faded. If anything, it's grown stronger with every relationship, every challenge, and every opportunity to serve.
