A Little Pixie Dust Never Hurt a Sales Strategy.

Lori Ciambriello has never believed that being a great sales representative is about having the best pitch. For her, it’s about something much harder to manufacture, trust.

After nearly 16 years connected to the title industry, including six years as a policy typist and almost a decade in her current career, Lori has learned that people remember who consistently shows up for them.

Today, as a sales representative for WFG National Title Insurance Company, relationships are not simply part of Lori’s job. They are the part she loves most.

Her path into title began the way so many great title careers do; unexpectedly. One evening, Lori met someone who became a close friend. That friendship eventually led to an introduction to her friend’s husband, Cary Williams, who today is Lori’s boss at WFG. What started as a chance connection became the beginning of a career Lori could never have predicted.

And perhaps it makes perfect sense that a career built on an unexpected relationship would eventually teach Lori just how valuable relationships can be.

She Doesn’t Sell. She Shows Up.

As she grew into sales, Lori quickly realized she didn’t want to be viewed as simply another vendor dropping off flyers, pushing products, or stopping by because it was time to “make the rounds.” She wanted her agents to understand that when she showed up, she was there because their business mattered to her. That meant finding a way to differentiate herself without relying on a sales pitch.

So, Lori built her own brand through action.

She became intentional about being responsive, dependable, empathetic, and present. She learned her clients, listened to what they needed, and focused on becoming a true resource rather than simply someone trying to make a sale.

That philosophy has served her well. Lori has received five top sales representative awards during her career with WFG, an accomplishment she is incredibly proud of but rarely talks about. More recently, she challenged herself professionally again, earning her title agent license in November.

But the awards aren’t what Lori talks about when she describes success.

She talks about people.

Women Who Left Their Mark.

One of those people is her colleague Jennifer Giles, who Lori credits with inspiring her to become the best representative she can be. Lori recognizes that every salesperson develops their own style, but she and Jennifer share a similar approach to building relationships.

Watching Jennifer’s success over the years reinforced something Lori already believed, you don’t have to become someone else to succeed. You can build a career by being authentically yourself.

That lesson is one she hopes the next generation of women in title will carry with them.

Be your authentic self.

It sounds simple, but in an industry where women can sometimes feel pressure to prove themselves, Lori knows it can take confidence to actually live it.

She has experienced the challenge of proving that she is a dedicated service provider rather than a persistent vendor. Instead of allowing that perception to frustrate her, Lori used it as motivation to demonstrate the difference through her work.

She takes a similar approach when dealing with difficult personalities. Her first goal is to remain calm, even when the other person isn’t. She also believes there is strength in asking for perspective, whether that means talking through a situation with Cary, a manager, or a trusted colleague.

Leadership, after all, doesn’t mean having every answer yourself.

It also means knowing when to lean on your people. And Lori has some good ones.

The Heart Behind Her Hustle.

Her mom and dad have always been her number one supporters, and she describes Cary as an incredible source of support for both her and the WFG team.

But there is one person at the center of everything Lori does, her son. He is her why.

He inspires her to work hard, continue leveling up, and keep moving forward even on difficult days. He is also a big part of how Lori creates balance outside of work. She follows a regular exercise routine, but her favorite reset often involves spending weekends with her son at Disney World.

Faith, Trust & a Little Pixie Dust.

Lori is, unapologetically, a huge Disney fan!

Maybe that also explains why one of her favorite personal philosophies feels especially fitting:

“Leap, and the net will appear.”

She pairs that courage with two other reminders she returns to often:

“Give yourself grace” & “Tomorrow is a new day.”

There is both ambition and kindness in those words. Keep going. Keep growing. But don’t expect perfection from yourself along the way.

Service First. Sales Second. Lori Always.

When Lori thinks about the legacy she hopes to leave in title, it isn’t about awards, production numbers, or quotas. She wants to be remembered for her commitment to showing up for her agents and genuinely caring about their success.

She also hopes the industry continues to challenge the idea that sales representatives have to be “salesy” to be successful. For Lori, great sales is much more human than that.

It is empathy. It is responsiveness. It is service-first discipline. It is understanding that a relationship matters beyond the next transaction or monthly goal.

And sometimes, it is something as simple as offering a compliment, making a thoughtful gesture, or lifting someone else up. Lori believes we cultivate more of that in our industry by simply doing it ourselves.

One person leads by example, someone else follows, and little by little, the culture changes.

If Lori could sit down with the woman she was on her very first day in title, she knows exactly what she would tell her:

Be patient. And most importantly, always be yourself.

We are honored to celebrate Lori Ciambriello as this week’s Her.Spotlight. Her career is a wonderful reminder that some of the strongest professional brands aren’t created through what we say about ourselves. They are built quietly, consistently, and over time through how we show up, how we treat people, and whether the people we serve know that their success genuinely matters to us.

Because at the end of the day, Lori’s philosophy is beautifully simple:

Sales is relationships built, service first, authenticity always, and

a genuine heart for helping others succeed.
