Two Is Better Than One.

Best friends. Business partners.

And proof that the right person beside you can change everything.

Some business partnerships begin in a conference room. Erica Waldron and Andrea Castelli’s began long before they ever knew they would become entrepreneurs. They grew up together in Crystal River, Florida, have been best friends for more than sixteen years, and have spent much of their adult lives doing what they seem to do best: showing up for each other, dreaming a little bigger together, and figuring things out side by side.

Today, they are the founders of Flourish LLC, a nationwide signing service built around exceptional signing experiences, genuine relationships, and a belief that business can be both highly professional and deeply personal.

Their title story didn’t begin with a business plan, but rather it began with a moment of change. Andrea was working in a title office while Erica was in commercial property management when COVID disrupted the way closings were being done. Offices closed. People stopped coming in to sign documents. And the two friends noticed something: there was a growing need for mobile notaries. So, they did what they had always done.

They put their heads together, to create something new.

From an Idea to Something Bigger.

Erica and Andrea launched a local signing service called Sunny Signings, a name inspired by Florida and the bright, people-first energy they wanted to bring to their business.

Their secret formula? Well, from the very beginning, it was by doing things a little differently.

While introducing their new company to local businesses, they delivered fresh flowers.

Not elaborate marketing campaigns. Not impersonal sales pitches. Flowers.

It was cheerful, memorable and completely, uniquely them. More importantly, it represented something that would become foundational to the way they do business:

“people remember how you make them feel.”

Sunny Signings began to grow. Eventually, an opportunity came to merge with a national signing company, where Erica and Andrea spent the next five years helping build and operate on a much larger scale. They gained experience here, built lasting relationships, and learned the industry.

And then came another leap. This time, it meant betting on themselves all over again.

The Courage to Flourish.

Starting a business rarely comes with guarantees. Erica and Andrea knew leaving behind something familiar would mean stepping directly into uncertainty. They did it anyway.

A friend told them they were going to “flourish,” and something about the word immediately clicked. For them, it represented growth. Possibility. Becoming. But there was another meaning that made it almost too perfect. In the signing world, a flourish is that distinctive artistic finishing touch someone adds to a signature. It is personal, individual, and nearly impossible to duplicate.

That became the perfect representation of the company they wanted to build. Because Erica and Andrea weren’t interested in simply creating another signing service. They wanted to create something unmistakably their own. And perhaps the accomplishment they are most proud of isn’t a revenue milestone, client win or expansion. It was making the quiet decision to bet on themselves when there was absolutely no guarantee it would work.

They had an idea. They believed in it. And instead of waiting for the perfect moment, they bet on themselves and went for it. Building it their way. Today, as they put it, they’re Flourish-ing.

The Woman Who Opened the Door.

Behind their story is another woman, Crystal Goffe, whose impact has never been forgotten. Before Andrea even knew what title insurance was, Crystal invited her to join a title office she was opening. She took a chance on Andrea, taught her the business from the ground up and eventually became a mentor and friend to both women.

Crystal showed them that leadership isn’t simply about succeeding yourself. It is about serving people, building relationships and helping someone else grow. And years later, their story has come beautifully full circle.

Today, Crystal is a client of Flourish. The women she once helped introduce to the industry now provide signing services for her title company. There is something pretty special about that.

Give Yourself Grace in the Beginning.

After approximately seven years in title, Erica and Andrea have advice for the woman sitting in her first closing wondering if everyone else in the room knows something she doesn’t:

"Give yourself grace."

There will be questions you cannot answer. There will be moments when you feel like everyone else knows more than you do. That is not proof you don’t belong but instead is simply what the beginning looks like.

Keep learning. Stay curious. Ask questions. Build relationships. And with time, the knowledge that once seemed overwhelming begins to come naturally. And whatever you do, they say,

“don’t be afraid to dream bigger.”

Neither Erica nor Andrea could have predicted where title would take them when they first entered the industry. Some of the greatest opportunities of their careers are ones they never could have imagined at the beginning.

Two Really Is Better Than One.

Ask Erica and Andrea for the philosophy that guides them, and their answer perfectly describes both their friendship and their business: “Two is better than one.”

For them, those aren't just cute words, they live them. They hold each other accountable. They divide and conquer when life gets busy. Sometimes they tackle a challenge together because two perspectives produce a better answer. And when one of them needs a break, the other encourages her to take it. No guilt. No keeping score. No rushing back before she is ready.

Their partnership has taught them something many of us could probably use more of:

“Strength doesn’t always mean carrying everything yourself. Sometimes strength is trusting the person beside you enough to let her carry something for a while.”

Their friendship, families and faith in one another keep them grounded, while their self-confidence keeps them moving forward when the entire path isn't visible yet. Yes, plans have changed and opportunities haven't always worked out. But looking backward, they can see how many of those detours led them exactly where they needed to go.

Relationships Over Transactions.

If there is one skill Erica and Andrea have mastered together, it may be relationship building. They believe this industry runs on trust.

Success, to them, isn't simply completing the transaction. It is showing up consistently, following through, treating people well and investing enough in relationships that clients and colleagues sometimes become lifelong friends.

That philosophy traces all the way back to those first bouquets of flowers at Sunny Signings. Their belief remains the same today: There is enough opportunity for everyone.

Celebrate someone else's success. Don’t be afraid to share what you know. Mentor the woman coming behind you. Make that introduction. Encourage someone. Open a door.

Because some of the greatest opportunities in their own careers have come from this: you’re not just a transaction to them, but your relationship genuinely matters.

Their Why Grew Up With Them.

When Erica and Andrea first started building a business, their “why” was largely about creating something successful and opening new opportunities for themselves.

Today, that why looks different. It has grown to include their families and their children.

They want their kids to see what can happen when you work hard, take risks, believe in yourself and have the courage to build something meaningful from the ground up. Something that is completely yours.

Outside of work, both women are passionate about health, wellness, adventure and living intentionally. Erica loves boating, DIY projects, working out, traveling and being outdoors, while Andrea enjoys yoga, surf skating, traveling and staying active. And yes, these two genuinely have fun together, too.

Erica’s first concert was Joan Jett as a little girl. Andrea's was Plain White T's in high school. Most recently, the best friends caught Fulton Lee together for a little “bubble gum funk.”

Because apparently building businesses together for years still isn't enough togetherness.

Enjoying music and time together is a priority to them. And somehow, that feels exactly right.

A Legacy That Looks a Lot Like Friendship.

When Erica and Andrea think about the legacy they hope to leave, it isn't complicated.

They want other women to look at their story and believe they can take the chance, too.

Two best friends had an idea and went for it. Starting small, they brought flowers, they learned, they grew, they took chances.

They took chances and experienced the detours. They built relationships. And when the time came to bet on themselves again, they did.

That may be the most beautiful part of their story. Neither woman had to do it alone.

There was someone beside her saying, keep going.

Someone reminding her to take the break.

Someone willing to divide and conquer.

Someone believing in the dream on the days when believing might have been a little harder.

Erica and Andrea are building Flourish one relationship and one signing at a time, but their story is about something much bigger than business. It is about what can happen when women genuinely support one another, believe in one another and make room for each other to grow. Because sometimes the person standing beside you isn't just part of your journey - she is part of the reason you had the courage to take it.

And Erica and Andrea may have been right all along: two really can be better than one.

From all of us at Her.Collective, thank you, Erica and Andrea, for allowing us to share your story. Your friendship is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when women truly believe in one another, show up for one another, and have the courage to build something meaningful together.

We love the heart you bring to this industry, the relationships you continue to cultivate, and the example you are setting for other women who may be wondering if they should take that leap and bet on themselves. Keep growing, keep lifting others along the way, and most of all, keep Flourish-ing. We are so honored to have you both as part of this community and to celebrate your journey together.
