Grace, Grit & a Whole Lot of Heart—How Deb Grace Turned Life’s Challenges into Her Greatest Superpower
This week’s Women of Title Spotlight shines on someone who truly embodies the meaning of grace under pressure—Deb Grace, Executive Vice President of Business Development at AccuTitle.
With 14 years in the title industry, Deb’s career has been shaped by courage, connection, and a genuine love for people. Her journey isn’t just about building business; it’s about building others.
A Career Rooted in Connection.
Based in McKinney, Texas, Deb proudly calls herself a “relationship builder first and foremost.” In her leadership role at AccuTitle, a leading provider of title production software solutions, she focuses on identifying growth opportunities, expanding the company’s footprint, and fostering long-term partnerships across the industry.
She thrives at the intersection of people and performance, collaborating with teams, partners, and clients to drive innovation and meaningful impact. “My role is about building bridges,” she says. “It’s seeing potential in people and ideas — and helping both flourish.”
Her career, much like her leadership style, is driven by authenticity. “I’ve always believed in serving first,” Deb explains. “When you focus on giving more than you take, everything else falls into place.”

From Unexpected Beginnings to Industry Leader.
Deb’s path to title wasn’t something she planned — but it was exactly where she was meant to land. After the devastating loss of her husband, she made the courageous decision to start fresh in Dallas, Texas. There, she was offered an opportunity at RamQuest that would change the course of her life.
“I wasn’t looking for a career in title,” she reflects, “but once I stepped in, I knew I had found something special.” What began as an unexpected opportunity quickly became a calling. With a natural gift for building relationships, Deb immersed herself in the business, learning everything she could and connecting deeply with the people around her. “That ability to connect authentically became a catalyst for growth,” she says. “It helped me build a network — and a career — faster than I could have ever imagined.”
Then life threw her another curveball: a serious, life-threatening health issue that forced her to step away from the rhythm of her career and focus on survival. “My world narrowed to three things — my faith, my family, and the job I loved and hoped to return to,” she says quietly. “That experience reshaped me. It gave me compassion for the unseen battles others face, and a renewed sense of gratitude for every day I get to do this work.”

Her return to the industry wasn’t just a comeback, it was a rebirth. “Coming back wasn’t just about recovery,” she says. “It was about rediscovering my purpose, my resilience, and the incredible community that surrounded me. I’m grateful to be here, and I carry that gratitude into every interaction and challenge.”

Mentorship, Leadership & Women Lifting Women.
Throughout her journey, Deb has been surrounded by strong, brilliant women who encouraged and inspired her. One mentor stands out — Mary Schuster — who played a pivotal role in Deb’s early career. “When I was new to the industry, Mary’s encouragement and leadership helped me find my confidence,” Deb shares. “Her belief in my potential helped me see what I was capable of — and I’ll always be grateful for that.”
Now, Deb is deeply committed to paying that mentorship forward. She’s passionate about cultivating women leaders through programs like the ALTA Ambassador Program, which she describes as “a powerful example of intentional outreach and inclusion.” Watching that community grow, she says, is one of the most rewarding parts of her work. “We build strong leaders by leading with example and recognizing strengths in others early,” she notes.

“Mentoring is how we build — and pass it on.”
Purpose, Passion & Her Why.
When asked what keeps her going, Deb doesn’t hesitate. “My confidence and drive come from a deep-rooted belief in service and connection,” she says. “I thrive on helping people — being that steady force others can count on. That’s what keeps me moving forward.”
Her leadership philosophy is simple: give more than you take. It’s a mantra that’s guided her both personally and professionally, and one that she believes defines true success.
Wisdom for the Next Generation.
Deb’s advice to women entering the title industry radiates warmth and wisdom. “There is so much room here for you to thrive, lead, and leave an impact,” she says. “Be the best version of yourself. Push through challenges, lean in, and show up. Build meaningful relationships and lift as you climb — because success is always sweeter when it’s shared.”
Strength, Faith & Family.
Deb’s grit runs deep, passed down from a long line of strong, independent women. “I grew up surrounded by women who faced challenges head-on,” she says. “They taught me that strength isn’t just about power — it’s about purpose, integrity, and courage.”
Her faith and family are her anchors. “My children and grandchildren inspire me every day,” she smiles. “I want them to see that compassion and strength can coexist — that no matter what life throws your way, you can keep moving forward with grace.”
The Village That Grounds Her.
Deb’s life is built around her “village” — a close-knit community of family and friends who have supported her through every season. “My family and friends are my foundation,” she says. “They’re my roots, my joy, and my soft place to land.”
She especially treasures her time with her grandchildren, often planning one-on-one outings so she can pour into each of them individually. “Time is precious,” she says. “Those little moments — that laughter and connection — that’s what life is really about.”

Beyond the Boardroom.
Outside of work, Deb embraces balance and joy. She loves true crime shows, long reflective walks, and a good margarita with Mexican food.
Her first concert? Fleetwood Mac, of course. She also still loves the sounds of ABBA and The Eagles — a timeless mix of rhythm and soul that perfectly matches her own energy.
A Legacy of Grace.
For Deb, legacy has nothing to do with titles or transactions — it’s about people.
“I want to be remembered for building bridges, creating trust, and inspiring others with warmth and sincerity,” she says. “Influence grows when you put others first. Success is relational, not transactional.”
Her story is a living reminder that authenticity, resilience, and heart are the true foundations of leadership. “The title industry reflects the brilliance of the women within it,” she says with pride. “I’m honored to be one of them.”

The Essence of Deb Grace.
Grace by name, grace by nature — Deb’s story is one of courage, compassion, and connection. Through adversity and triumph alike, she’s led with integrity, empathy, and heart.
Her.Collective celebrates Deb Grace as a Woman of Title who continues to elevate those around her, proving that when women lead with grace, grit, and generosity — the whole industry rises with them. Thank you for your story and your influence in title!
