Pam Giarratano | Senior Account Manager | First Integrity Title | 24 Years in Title

There is something unmistakably steady about a woman who has built her career on consistency, loyalty, and follow-through. This week, Her.Collective proudly celebrates a Woman of Title whose 24-year journey reflects grit, heart, and an unwavering commitment to her clients—Pam Giarratano of First Integrity Title in Denver, Colorado.

For 21 of her 24 years in the title industry, Pam has called First Integrity home. And if you ask her, that longevity isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. It’s built on relationships, trust, and showing up day after day with excellence.

Based in Arvada, Colorado, Pam brings both heart and strategy to everything she touches.

From a Lucky Break to a Lifelong Career.

Like so many of us, Pam didn’t grow up dreaming of title insurance but rather stumbled into it. A friend suggested she interview while she was in another industry, and what started as a simple opportunity became “the luckiest break” of her career.

What kept her here?

The complexity.

The relationships.

The constant evolution.

“It’s constantly changing, so it’s never boring,” she says. And after more than two decades, that still holds true.

A Passion for the Hard Cases.

As a Senior Account Manager, Pam loves all facets of title, but two areas especially light her up: Divorce and Probate transactions. These aren’t easy files. They require emotional intelligence, patience, and steady guidance. Pam thrives there.

There’s also a special place in her heart for helping new agents and lenders get started. She understands that early guidance can shape someone’s entire trajectory.

“Consistency, knowledge, and follow-through always win in the long run,” she shares, this principle she lives by.

The Women Who Shaped Her Leadership.

Pam’s leadership has been shaped by strong women at every stage of her career.

She credits one of her early mentors, Cris Gill, a founder at First Integrity, for creating an environment where questions were welcomed—not judged. That early encouragement built her confidence. She also reflects on the leadership of Susan Stewart, who modeled high standards and strong, effective management.

Today, her current leaders Andrea Pietka and Heather Spalding continue to teach her resilience, how to stay focused, push through frustration, and keep moving forward in a demanding environment.

“Each of these women influenced my growth in important and different ways,” Pam says.

It’s a reminder that mentorship doesn’t happen once—it happens in seasons.

The Challenge of Visibility—and the Power of Consistency.

One of the challenges Pam has faced is watching attention sometimes go to whoever is newest or most visible rather than most experienced. Instead of allowing that to discourage her, she reframed it.

“I’ve learned not to take that personally and to trust that consistency, knowledge, and follow-through always win in the long run.”

That mindset has strengthened her confidence and deepened her commitment to supporting other women as they grow their businesses.

Tech Savvy + Humility = Staying Power.

When asked what advice she’d give the next generation of women entering title, Pam doesn’t hesitate:

“Learn the available industry technologies inside and out—that will set you apart faster than almost anything else. At the same time, respect the people who’ve been in the industry a long time.”

In her view, the strongest careers are built at the intersection of innovation and humility.

Tools matter.

Relationships matter more.

Her “Why”: Family First.

Pam’s greatest motivation? Her daughters.

She wants them to see that hard work, determination, and consistency matter, no matter what industry.

That “why” fuels her determination on difficult days and keeps her grounded when the market shifts.

Grit, Loyalty, and Playing the Long Game.

Pam’s grit shows up most clearly when something she’s worked hard for is at risk. “When something I’ve worked hard for is at risk, I don’t quit. I stay engaged, advocate, and see it through.”

One of her proudest (and rarely discussed) accomplishments? Clients who leave to try another option and then come back.

“Sales numbers are great, but loyalty earned twice means more to me.”

That kind of trust isn’t transactional. It’s relational.

Beyond the Office: Gardens, Game Plans, and Great Parties.

Outside of title, Pam loves making things beautiful.

She gardens. She revives plants. She has what she jokingly calls an “oddly alarming amount of knowledge” about eradicating Japanese beetles.

She’s also discovered a new love of college football and finds inspiration in coaching strategies—especially the philosophy of Nick Saban. His mindset resonates deeply with her own mantra:

Never get complacent.

“In an industry with big swings driven by interest rates, it’s easy to relax after a win—but real success comes from constantly pushing to improve.”

And for a fun flashback? Her first concert was Shaun Cassidy at Red Rocks Amphitheatre—green velour jacket and all—singing “Da Do Ron Ron.” Some memories stay with you forever.

Seeing Both Truths.

One skill Pam continually refines is the ability to see multiple perspectives. “There are almost always two truths.”

That perspective has strengthened her ability to solve problems, navigate internal resistance, and maintain relationships, even in tough moments. In a competitive sales environment, that skill is invaluable.

The Legacy She’s Building.

When asked about legacy, Pam’s answer is simple and powerful:

“I hope my legacy is that I truly cared for my clients, their goals and their success.”

She wants to be remembered as someone who went the extra mile, guided with integrity, and left the industry better than she found it.

And if she could change one thing? She would eliminate gray areas that cause people to question motives. For Pam, transparency builds trust—and trust builds longevity.

Final Words to the Women of Her.

“I cannot think of a better field for women than title. It is a lifelong industry—and the best job in the world.”

Pam Giarratano embodies what it means to build something meaningful over time. She reminds us that while visibility may fluctuate, integrity never goes out of style. That loyalty earned twice is worth more than any quick win. And that staying grounded in your values will always carry you forward.

Pam, we celebrate your determination, drive for excellence, your loyalty, your heart for clients, and your commitment to lifting others along the way. We are honored to share your story of excellence with the Women of Her.TitleCollective!

Jordan Walker — Making the Title Industry More Human, One Insight at a Time.

Her.Collective is honored to spotlight a woman who has quietly — and boldly — reshaped how we think about leadership, culture, and strategy in the title industry. Meet Jordan Walker, Business Anthropologist and Director of Business Development & Strategy with Fidelity National Financial, based in Dallas, Texas.

With 19 years in title, Jordan doesn’t just study business, she studies humans. And in an industry historically driven by process and precision, she has built a career centered on something deeper: people.

Not Born Into Title; But Called to It.

Like many in this industry, Jordan didn’t grow up dreaming of title insurance.

In fact, she entered the field during one of the most uncertain times in modern real estate history — the housing crash of 2007. As the market shifted, she made a decision that would shape the rest of her career: she went back to school to earn her master’s degree in business Anthropology.

Yes — anthropology. The study of humans, culture, behavior, and systems.

What began as a temporary job with Chicago Title DFW while finishing her degree evolved into something no one could have predicted. Within a few short years, Jordan stepped into a role that didn’t even exist at the time: Business Anthropologist and Director of Business Development & Strategy at Fidelity National Financial.

There was no job description. No roadmap. Only vision.

“I was fortunate to work for leaders who gave me the freedom to continuously redefine my position,” she shares. That freedom allowed her to expand her influence from a local role into a divisional leadership position across the Fidelity family.

What drew her in wasn’t the mechanics of title but the opportunity to solve meaningful problems for employees and clients alike. “When I realized how much impact culture, strategy, and human insight could have in this space, I was hooked.”

Where Culture Meets Strategy.

Jordan’s passion lies in understanding how people really engage — not how we assume they do.

Her work bridges corporate culture, real estate technology, leadership development, community building, sales, and long-term strategic planning. She translates ethnographic insight into real-world solutions that strengthen brands and elevate client experiences.

She doesn’t sell services.

She studies systems.

She doesn’t push products.

She identifies blind spots.

And then she helps organizations design strategies that actually work, because they’re built around humans.

Redefining Leadership Without Losing Kindness.

Throughout her career, Jordan has been shaped by strong women leaders who modeled something powerful: consistency, integrity, and results without ego.

“The women who influenced me most didn’t lead loudly,” she reflects. “They showed me that you don’t have to choose between being kind and being effective. You can be both.”

In an industry that often equates leadership with volume, Jordan embodies a quieter strength rooted in clarity and trust built over time.

Carving Space for the Nontraditional.

One of Jordan’s greatest challenges was introducing nontraditional thinking into a traditional industry. Explaining the value of ethnographic research and culture-driven strategy wasn’t always simple.

Early on, she learned to translate complex human-behavior insights into practical business outcomes. “It taught me to let results speak louder than titles.” And over time, they did.

Advice to the Next Generation.

For women entering title, Jordan offers advice grounded in competence and community:

  • Learn the business deeply.

  • Ask questions relentlessly.

  • Understand how every role connects to the outcome.

  • Stay curious.

  • Find your people.

  • And more than any title or position, culture and community will determine how far you grow.

“Confidence comes from competence,” she says. “And competence comes from curiosity and effort.”

Her Why: Humans at the Center.

Jordan’s “why” is: People.

She is driven by helping organizations see their blind spots, understand their teams, and build strategies rooted in reality, not assumption. “When you put humans at the center of decision-making, everything improves.” That belief carries her through long days and complex initiatives.

Beyond business, her anchor is her, partner Alan and her 7-year-old daughter Kaia, who guide every decision she makes.

Resilience in the Hard Seasons.

In 2025, Jordan faced one of life’s most difficult challenges: a breast cancer diagnosis.

What followed was a year of surgeries, treatments, and healing. But it also became a testament to the power of community.

Her work family showed up in extraordinary ways — handwritten notes, thoughtful gifts, messages of encouragement, and even a custom pink cowgirl hat that became a symbol of strength.

Her resilience — rooted in upbringing and strengthened by adversity — carries even more depth now. “Hard seasons pass. Growth often comes from discomfort.”

The Creative Soul Behind the Strategist.

Beyond boardrooms and strategy sessions, Jordan is deeply creative. She loves art, especially the unconventional, temporary, performance-driven kind. She’s a theater enthusiast and a devoted music fan whose playlists range from French rap to Texas country.

Her first concert? Bon Jovi.

Her all-time favorites? Jimmy Buffett, Pat Green, Morrissey, and Travis.

And perhaps the most charming detail: “My spirit animal is a 90-year-old British lady,” she laughs. “I love to crochet, read, puzzle, and drink hot tea.”

Mantras That Guide Her Leadership.

Jordan lives by two core philosophies:

“Sell the problem you solve, not the product you sell.” & “Never quit learning.”

She believes deeply that listening — truly listening — is the beginning and ending of everything: sales, strategy, leadership, culture.

The Legacy She Hopes to Leave.

Jordan’s vision for her impact is powerful: “I hope to leave the industry more human than I found it.” She wants to see more investment in developing people — not just processes.

“When people grow, the business follows.”

And she believes strongly in one final principle: Have fun. “The opposite of play isn’t work — it’s depression.” Not necessarily play as an action — but play as a mindset.

Curiosity. Creativity. Joy.

Final Words to the Women of Her.Collective.

Jordan leaves us with this reminder:

“Your perspective matters. Your presence matters. Lead with confidence, stay curious, and never underestimate the impact of simply showing up as yourself.”

Jordan Walker is more than a strategist; she’s a culture builder and a human-first leader who proves that intelligence and empathy belong together. We’re honored to celebrate her story and impact in title insurance.

Nancy Adams —An Unexpected Beginning That Changed Everything.

Not every title story begins with a five-year plan. For Nancy Adams, it began with a recommendation. When a friend transitioned into becoming a stay-at-home mom, she suggested Nancy step into her role. That one opportunity opened the door to an industry Nancy never saw coming — but now can’t imagine leaving.

“I entered the title industry unexpectedly,” Nancy shares. “But sometimes the best paths are the ones you didn’t map out yourself.”

Now serving as Southeast Marketing Manager for Investor’s Title Insurance Company, and based in Canton, Georgia, Nancy brings years of industry experience and more than three years with her current company into every relationship she builds. What started as a career move became a purpose-driven profession rooted in trust, partnership, and consistency.

Marketing Rooted in Relationships.

For Nancy, marketing in title insurance isn’t about brochures or branding alone; it’s about people. “I believe in relationship-driven marketing,” she says. “Be you. Be genuine. People will trust you.”

Her passion lies in educating clients, supporting agents, and helping them reach successful closings with clarity and confidence. She understands that the most valuable marketing strategy isn’t flashy — it’s dependable. Showing up prepared, responding quickly, and standing behind your word builds a reputation that lasts.

“Trust is built long before the closing table,” Nancy explains. “It’s built in the conversations, the follow-up, and the way you show up consistently.”

Confidence Earned Through Preparation.

Like many women in the industry, Nancy faced the challenge of being taken seriously early in her career. Instead of shrinking, she leaned into preparation.

“Confidence comes from knowing you’ve done the work,” she says. “Thorough preparation gives you a seat at the table.”

Over time, she learned that authority doesn’t require loudness. It requires steadiness. By staying poised and informed, she earned respect in rooms that once felt intimidating.

Inspired by Strong Women.

Nancy credits Mary Anne Harris of Positively Balanced as a powerful influence in her professional life. Mary Anne’s ambitious spirit and contagious energy elevated Nancy’s confidence and showed her how to navigate the industry with pride, honor, and joy.

Watching a strong woman lead boldly reinforced Nancy’s belief that success and integrity can coexist beautifully.

Her Why: Family, Purpose & Daily Discipline.

Nancy’s “why” is rooted in building a life she is proud of and taking care of the people she loves most. Her family is her greatest motivator, especially her husband Troy of 33 years. “He has always pushed me further,” Nancy says. “He believed there was both personal and professional payoff in taking big strides.”

Even when her twins were little, Nancy found a way to execute a mom/wife/work balance. That determination built the resilience she carries today.

Every morning begins with movement — whether it’s running, cross-fit, or weightlifting.

“Starting my day with a workout gives me grit,” she explains. “Feeling strong physically elevates my work life.”

And she speaks one phrase to herself daily: “Make it a great day.”

“Not every day is a good day,” Nancy adds. “But how you fight through it with positive energy reminds you that the day will end — and a new one will rise.”

Grit That Builds Success.

Nancy’s grit is rooted in consistency and energy. Starting the day strong physically elevates her mindset and work performance. That disciplined approach has earned her recognition as a President’s Club Top Performer at multiple companies throughout her career — an accomplishment she holds with humility and pride.

She is also unafraid to ask for business. Rejection doesn’t deter her. “I’m not afraid to ask for business,” she says confidently. “There will be no’s — but there is always a yes.”

That mindset has fueled long-term success in a competitive industry.

Her growth mindset was shaped by The SalesMind by Doug Trenary, which encouraged her to examine her internal beliefs about sales and success. She also draws inspiration from motivational speaker Tony Robbins, whose teachings helped her build confidence and resilience in her sales career.

 Leading Through Challenge with Composure.

When managing challenging personalities, Nancy removes emotion first. She listens carefully, stays calm, and responds with professionalism and clarity. Her advice to other women is clear:

“Keep your composure. Trust your instincts. Be respectful. Stay poised.”

 That is what defines leadership.

She understands that tension often escalates when emotions lead the conversation. By maintaining calm authority, she creates space for resolution rather than conflict.

Character as the Industry’s Foundation.

Nancy believes the title industry thrives because of character-driven leaders. In a competitive and highly regulated field, relationships and integrity set professionals apart. She models empathy, accountability, and support consistently.

Cultivating character doesn’t require grand gestures. It requires consistent practice — choosing integrity over shortcuts, empathy over ego, and collaboration over competition.

“Leading with character strengthens everyone,” Nancy adds.

Joy Beyond the Office.

Outside of work, Nancy finds joy in cooking. She and her husband love spending time in the kitchen together, enjoying a glass of wine, music playing in the background, and creating homemade meals. When the Big Green Egg is smoking a ham, Boston Butt, or steaks, the neighbors inevitably stop by.

Her first concert was Mother’s Finest, a vibrant 80s memory that still brings a smile to her face.

Well-Being & Balance.

Nancy prioritizes well-being by conducting personal “self-checks.”

“It’s important to stay intentional about managing your energy,” she explains. “Set clear expectations and ask for support when you need it.”

Burnout prevention, for Nancy, is about awareness and balance — not perfection.

Legacy & Lasting Impact.

When Nancy reflects on the legacy she hopes to leave, it is simple and sincere. She wants agents to say she was trustworthy, dependable, and someone they could call a friend.

“I want to leave this industry with no regrets,” she says. “Knowing I always did the right thing.”

If she could improve one thing in the title industry, it would be greater transparency in the title process. Helping consumers clearly understand what they are paying for and how their largest asset is protected would elevate trust across the board.

A Final Word to Her.Collective

Nancy’s encouragement to women entering the industry is heartfelt:

“You’ve got this. Be a listener. Surround yourself with talented people who want to see you succeed. Have fun learning — and don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself.”

Stay true to who you are.

Never underestimate yourself.

Preparation and consistency can open doors you never imagined.

And always remember —

You matter.

We are honored to celebrate Nancy Adams — a grounded, resilient, and relationship-driven Woman of Title whose grit and grace continue to strengthen our industry.
